WHY BECOME A FACILITATOR?
The facilitator's job is to support everyone to do their best thinking and practice. To do this, the facilitator encourages full participation, promotes mutual understanding and cultivates shared responsibility. By supporting everyone to do their best thinking, a facilitator enables group members to search for inclusive solutions and build sustainable agreements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
- Professionals currently working in the area family services, education and women's issues.
- Child care owners and professionals who desire to reinvent themselves and utilize their transferable skills.
- Anyone interested in generating income as a Rays of Hope Parent Empowerment Facilitator.
PARTICIPANTS WILL EXPERIENCE:
- 3-days with National Trainer/Consultant, Carmen Ray who has over 30 years of experience in working with families in challenged neighborhoods
- Tools and strategies to engage families
- This training promises to provide personal development and a self-care wellness experience as we learn to care for and empower others
- How to increase the home/school partnerships
- Become a parent educator and learn the benefits of evidence based curriculum
- When violence hits home (a testimony of its devastating impact)
